Leaves Are Falling....

The other day, I was talking with my two friends, Maria and Nita, about Autumn.  Well, they were talking about it since we don't really have seasons here.  We either have normal weather (hot and sweltering at times) and monsoon. LOL. That's about it. :)

Amazing how even as we don't have the Autumn season, the trees know when it is time for the cycle to change. :)  The leaves are even changing colours.

Anyway, I saw some fallen leaves on the ground in my little meadow and immediately thought of my friends. It rather felt a little like Autumn especially since I took this in the morning and the sun was not as warm yet.

This tree really reminded me of my friends in their cooler climates, especially the Olympic Peninsula.   It seems rather out of place here.  It's amazing to see it thriving in our warm weather but thrive it seems to be. :)

Alas this little patch of grass didn't fare too well.  The sun's strong rays seemed to have burned a path through it.

aaah and now I'm all fuzzy warm for you to think about us even when not online ;-)

I can't imagine what it's like, not having cooler weather but I suspect it's the same way around for you too, we get used to the climate we live in... no?
