I'm Going Slightly Mad...

I'm going slightly mad
I'm going slightly mad
It finally happened - happened
It finally happened - ooh oh
It finally happened - I'm slightly mad

LOL, couldn't resist borrowing a few lines from Queen's popular song, coz truthfully, those lines went through my mind on Thursday evening when I paid the library another visit and walked away with three more books!

I can get quite single-minded when I get 'sucked' into certain realms on my reading journeys; I remember doing that when I started Christine Feehan's Dark Series.  So I had this bright idea of getting Strykerius's book that comes after Acheron in Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark-Hunter series.  Remember Acheron? The one whose 753 page story I gobbled up in three days?!

Actually I thought I'd already borrowed it at the same time I got Acheron so was a little dismayed that I'd passed on it - not realising at the time that it came after Acheron, of course.  Instead I'd gotten Wren and Arik's books.  So when I saw from the catalog that Strykerius's book was in, I quickly made my way there after work.  Of course, once I was there how could I resist checking out who else was there - hmm.. should I worry that I am referring to them as a real person? ;).  I saw Alexion's and he was Acheron's ward for a while so that's a definite must. Then lil' Miss Smarty Pants that is me had to check out what's on Christine Feehan's shelf and lo and behold, I found the 2nd Drake sister's story. That's like difficult to find so of course that came home with me too!

Dang it! I'm not sure if the Library's new policy of allowing six books is a good thing or not, LOL. I just can't stay away! So these are my new pals from the Library for the next three weeks.

Arik  & Geary

Wren & Maggie

Strykerius & Zeyphyra

Alexion &  Dangereuse

Kate (Drake) & Matt

Did I mention that I already have seven books to read as well? LOL  Actually make that six coz I'm certainly burning rubber to finish one book that I'd started yesterday, so that I can start another Dark-Hunter book! Let's place the blame squarely on Acheron's broad shoulders eh? It's all his fault for getting me so hooked into the realm of his Dark-Hunters! He is a god after all. I'm sure he won't mind. :D

holy edward, I go walk about for a few days and see how much I missed on your blog!

I can so relate to your "junk like"behaviour when it comes to books, it drives me almost litterally insane when I can't proceed in a saga I started!

by your fabulous reports on the last books I feel helplessly behind and I want to read them all!

loving your blog my friend, keep on posting those delicious bookreports, funny things and scrumptious pics on our heroes.

tts!
