Wannabe Baker

     It was brought to my attention that Eid draws closer and I had yet to start any baking. So on Monday, my sis and I headed down to the our favourite supermarket, Seng Shiong and came back with this haul.

     I know, I know. I think I went overboard and bought too much too. I'll probably won't use all of them. I already got an "I told you so!" from Mum.  Aaargh! I just hate it when Mum is right about such things.

    I started two cookies yesterday, oatmeal raisin and chocolate chip. As usual, I went to my favourite website for such things, www.allrecipes.com and checked my recipe box and retrieved two I'd saved. I'd tried the chocolate chip one before but not the oatmeal raisin. I don't quite like how they turned out. I need to work on making them even smaller and more bite-sized and may make another batch.
